Business: Sile Incorporated

Ode houri Landry is a young Ivorian entrepreneur and owner of Sile Inc. A couple years ago he decided to return to the Ivory Coast after, receiving a Master in International Business from Management school of Turin. Prior to that he also received a JD from the University of Abidjan. Returning home was somewhat of a challenge for him as he was not sure of immediately finding a job. To his surprise he found various job openings in his field and worked for various companies such as BOCCIE and Central d achat Cafe-Cacao. It is while working these jobs that Landry found the motivation to open his business Sile Inc. He started in gift and mail express; that was a smart move since there is not enough company offering those types of dual services. Success of his company is the affordability of the services. Many Ivorian citizens got familiar with the company due to the extensive marketing campaign run on airways and TV spots. Sile Inc. exerts now a firm hand on this market thru its subsidy Sile Express. Sile Ado- prepaid gift deliveries for companies and others. The future plans for the subsidy is the conquest of secondary urban cities in the Ivory Coast followed by a regional expansion

Innovation in the real estate market

« Innovation in the real estate market in Ivory Coast. »
This is a first in the real estate and legal markets of the Ivory Coast. Using technology to improve the buying, renting and selling experience of Ivorian citizen is a nowadays a reality. Abidjan and other urban markets are expanding and the real estate market is booming. The leasing market is soaring and this innovation in the purchasing and leasing system would greatly improve the relationship between buyers, renters and sellers. This innovation is the brainchild of Ivorian Engineer, Taine Jacques-Patrice .The database named « credit history » will allow the tracking of every real estate transactions done in the Ivory Coast market, starting off this year in the Abidjan market. Stakeholders would be able to cipher through the good and bad sellers, buyers and renters at the click of a mouse. This would prevent real estate frauds and wide spread corruption withing the buying and leasing market. Mr. Taine is working with INCA Network, which stands for Ivory Communication Associates Network. This is greatly appreciated by many because it would greatly improve the Ivorian Real Estate market and relationship in this booming market.

We are going to follow this story and bring you any relevant update..

In the media:FBI

After OBV ( orange, blanc, vert), Ya Foyi and many other there is a new Ivorian logo on the market called FBI. Unlike, the real FBI which stands for Federal Bureau of Investigation ; this one simply means Fier d etre un Bin Ivorien (proud to be an Ivorian). Like its predecessors, FBI is making big waves in the market and with the Ivorian diaspora. The new FBI line consists of everything wearable from jeans and Shirts to underwear and boxers. All the FBI merchandise is available both national(l'hôtel Ivoire, club SOCOCE II-Plateaux, Orca Deco, maquis la Station, la rue du commerce-Plateau, chez Paco )and internationally through the Internet ( . Now,More than ever being an Ivorian is a sign of pride and joy. This is a good marketing strategy to attract tourists and promote Ivory Coast Abroad.

Tourism sector: Best of Africa

Best of Africa is a family owned and operated resort in the southwest region of the Republic of Cote d'Ivoire. Beatrice the owner of the vacation spot would describe it in these words:

"A fantastic remote hideaway. Best of Africa provides a complete escape from day to day city life and radiates a charmingly elegant atmosphere in a unique natural setting.

Located in 6 hectares of flowery, lush tropical grounds,

Surrounded by a private white-sand beach lined with coconut trees, a magnificent lagoon, and a rain forest."

The hotel started this new package for the year 2007,the wedding package should satisfy the different needs of honeymooners.

The tourism industry is in need of a long-term planning, internal and external tourism could boost economic growth in the ivory coast and not just in one particular industry. The following sectors would more likely be directly benefiting as well: Transportation, restaurants, telecommunication, real estate and building sector, marketing and media.

Other sectors that will probably invest as new needs occur will be the banking industry, translation industry.
